Birmingham Rep & Black Country Touring in Association with Foursight Theatre present “Eat”, a brand new production for Autumn 2012 & Spring 2013.
We take food for granted; we diet, over-indulge, grab it on the go, but rarely do we delve into its stories. From famine to hunger strike, persecution to celebration, anorexia to obesity, food and eating has an important place in historical events, the present news and our own emotional memories.  Over the last six months dozens of stories about food have been gathered from across the West Midlands by The REP and Black Country Touring for a new play, Eat! Inspired by stories of war, poverty, celebrations, feasts, famines and fasts Eat! will be an intimate and unique theatre experience taking place in a cluster of caravans situated in the courtyard of the Roundhouse.
I have it on good authority that there will be fire as well as caravans and it sounds like one not to be missed.  We have 20 tickets put aside for the 5.30pm performance and 20 for the 8.00pm performance (for those staying over-night).  Special prices £7.50 for NRTF members.

Would love to attend but I’m afraid we’ll be on our way south to do a show at Margate Theatre Royal. Will do our best to be there next year or for any opportunities in the mean time. Hope it goes well. Enjoy! Martin - Rocket Theatre
