Paint Like a Caveman with Sarah Butterworth

Roll up your sleeves and experiment with natural materials in this creative workshop by Dorset based artist Sarah Butterworth.

Use stones to grind local soils into coloured powders and mix them into paint. Then, using this paint, make your own caveman painting and create marking tools from natural materials, binding twigs and grasses.

During the day you’ll also learn a little about the local geology and examine fossils found in the different rock layers.

Dress for mess and bring empty jars to take your paint home with you.

Remember a packed lunch.
