About

multi story tours small-scale theatre productions and workshops. Since 2000, we have created 15 plays for adults that respond to the world we live in and 18 for children based on old stories that endure. We play arts centres, theatres, schools, colleges, Rural Touring schemes, community venues and festivals. Partnership projects include devising plays with primary schools for Warwick Arts Centre; reworking Shakespeare with school and college students for North Devon Theatres; an annual play-in-a-week with young teens for Queen’s Hall, Hexham. We represented the UK at the Milk International Children’s Festival, Toronto and won awards at Fringe Festivals in Canada, Prague and Limerick. We tour across England – including work with 20 RTSs. We have toured South America, Norway, Portugal and Finland. We have had residencies at the University of Wisconsin and Kyiv International School. We have been commissioned for four projects by the Museum of Barnstaple. We were awarded a Breathing Space residency by Beaford to develop a production from oral testimony and commissioned to direct the community version of Hefted last December and the recent touring four-person version in Devon. In 2007 we set up Fringe TheatreFest to provide a platform for small-scale theatre in North Devon.
