Night Out is the rural and community touring scheme for Wales. The offices are based in Cardiff and are part of the Arts Council of Wales. Night Out works across Wales with village halls and community groups who wish to programme professional shows. The office is based in Cardiff and consists of two full time posts and a shared adminisratorr role. In 2011/12 580 performances were put on by 337 different promoters groups across Wales through the scheme. If you are interested in performing as part of the scheme in the first instance please send an e mail to letting us know what you do, include images, material, reviews and information about the show. The scheme covers the whole of Wales working in both rural and inner city areas. There is no one typical promoter, 20% of work is Welsh Language, some promoters just do one art form such as jazz or classical music others are your more typical village hall or community centre. we also work extensively in association with development projects in some of the more deprived areas of the country The scheme covers a broad range of performance art forms apart from Literature, which is covered by schems run by LiteraureWales
