Founded in 2012 by Artistic Director, Emma-Jane Greig, Body Politic is a professional touring Hip Hop Theatre Company whose work addresses a range of socio-political issues.

Our work targets young people and artists from priority groups including, Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds, gender, young offenders, and those excluded from accessing high quality art due to inaccessibility or cost.

We also deliver a hugely successful outreach project in Oxford for young people aged 11-19yrs. Our enriching programme also offers accredited Dance Leadership training, paid opportunities and internships for young people keen to their develop skills and increase knowledge their in dance.

We provide a nurturing, enriching and supportive environment which works with young people from all backgrounds and ages to improve self-confidence and self-esteem through dance.
