Flibbertigibbet Theatre explores new artistic collaborations to create exciting theatrical experiences.through a cross-art collaborative process. The company aims to create work that surprises, entertains and provoke new audiences through a exciting creative encounters.
Babble - a Play with Sound, is aimed at audiences aged 3-5 years. A collaboration between sound artists and theatre makers, the show is a playful live sound experience. Through the creation of a brand new piece of music featuring their voices to take away, we offer the child creative ownership with a legacy. Babble was part of the Making and Believing Scheme last year, with support from Take Art, Derby Arts and Surrey Arts, the show toured to nurseries and venues across the regions.

Artistic Director, Stevie Thompson has a passion for creating theatre for and with children and family audiences. As a performer, she has worked with companies such as Travelling Light, Bristol Old Vic, Limbik, Rude Mechanical Theatre, Kazzum, Soap Soup and Tessa Bide, as well as on numerous devising processes. As facilitator, she works across the country, on projects for all ages and experience, including Egg Theatre, Tobacco Factory, Travelling Light and Theatre Alibi. She is a commedia dell' arte specialist, delivering commedia and mask workshops to school and community groups.
