I'm currently touring Honey's Happening - an immersive comedy theatre show set in 1969! It's a fun, heartwarming, fully interactive show, wth audiences joining suburban housewife Honey Childs and daughter Barbara in her living room (or village hall!), for cheese and pineapple, retro party games and Honey’s favourite easy listening LPs as she embarks on a serious mission: to bring about world peace. Hip, Square or Way Out There, everyone is encouraged to take part in Honey’s specially planned activities. But as the Happening gathers momentum, events take an unexpected turn, and Honey’s hopes and dreams start to unravel… We've just sold out twice at the Komedia Brighton for the Brighton Fringe and the “Summer of Love” tour continues with appearances at Hastings Comedy Festival on 16th June, Attic Arts Club Festival Crystal Palace on 21/22 June and Shaftesbury Festival on 7th July as well as London dates at Canal Café Theatre , with more dates in the pipeline. The show is fully portable - we only need space for the audience to move around and an electric plug point - the show is played on the flat with seating in the round. I'd love to hear from anyone interested either in seeing the show, or discussing the possiblity of bringing this show to your local venue! Watch the trailer here
