Number of shows

Miranda Pender is a singer/songwriter who has established herself as a popular entertainer, delighting audiences with a lively mix of words and music. (think Pam Ayres crossed with Victoria Wood!) Raunchy, romantic, poignant, humorous, her subjects range from shipwrecks to stalkers; from pretentious garden designers to that awkward moment when you find your lover's name sewn into the back of his underpants.....

She has recorded two albums of original songs: Petrol Station Flowers (2015), produced by Richard Digance, and Lifting the Lid (2017), produced by Boo Hewerdine.

Her full-length show, Musical Musings, comprises two sets of 40 minutes, with a 15 minute interval during which she is happy to chat to the audience, as well as doing a Q&A session at the end.
